- Abstract (Swedish)
(Less) - Abstract
- Attachment is the infant’s first relationship. The way it develops has a crucial influence on the person’s all human relationships throughout life. The aim of this study was to examine
how the attachment had developed in prematurely born individuals by young adult age. The participants were 34 individuals, of which 18 persons had been born extremely preterm (i.e. before 29 weeks of pregnancy) and 16 after fullterm pregnancy. Attachment was assessed through Adult Attachment Interview (AAI), a semi-structured interview for classification of attachment in adults.
