This study is to examine about the ethical part of Corporate Social Responsibility and trying to see what kind of responsibilities corporate have regarding low wages and the right to union organizing. This situation is analyzed through Tomas Scanlon’s moral philosophy view and the question about ethical responsibility and to whom it can be attributed. In order to do this, corporations must put much effort into improving their methods and strategies for CSR and the ethical aspect must penetrate the entire company.
My conclusion is that there is a need for cooperation between different actors in order to change the current situation. Asia Floor Wages play an important role in affecting the current situation and together with corporate taking their responsibility, a change can be made.
RedQ is a company in Sweden with production in Bangladesh, which have knowledge in taking ethical responsibility. (Less)
