The purpose of this study was to examine how Stödcentrum for young crime victims were perceived by other collaborators that the organization cooperate with and how the collaboration works. The current participants of the study were the police, counsellors and crime victim coordinators. The study was a part of an evaluation of Stödcentrum and the interest of cooperation brought our attention after we’ve participated in a meeting with the project manager and took part of litterature that treated different Stödcentras in Sweden. The reports we read were mainly about the purpose of preventing crime and the development of the area. They also shed light on how the staff that worked with Stödcentrum experienced the organization. However, the reports didn’t give a clear image of how collaboration with Stödcentra in the nation and other collaborators might work, which was the aim of the studie. We used a qualitative method and interviewed six individuals which all had some sort of contact with Stödcentrum. By using conceptions like the culture in an organization, different rules for actions and visions, all part of the organization theory, we found interesting materials in our analysis that shed light on how the collaborators viewed the secrecy regulation in proportion to collaboration. The results showed that each individual is relatively free to construe how the secrecy regulation should be in each organization. The majority of the individuals considered that collaboration was important, as long as the starting point was in the own organization.
