- Abstract
- The aim of this study is to look at the co-operational problems with civil-military cooperation through the eyes of organization theories. I aim to see if the problems found within civil-military cooperation can be explained with organizational theories, and what can be done in order to both solve and avoid these problems in the future.
I will try to see if I can match the problems found, with the organizational theories concerning cooperation.
This paper has an investigative and explanatory onset and I intend to find the variables that are important for cooperation and then see if these variables are found within the different actors and the cooperation between them. I will look both on the central and national level and on the field... I will try to see if I can match the problems found, with the organizational theories concerning cooperation.
This paper has an investigative and explanatory onset and I intend to find the variables that are important for cooperation and then see if these variables are found within the different actors and the cooperation between them. I will look both on the central and national level and on the field and international level because every decision and action taken on the central level will affect the field level, and the decisions and actions taken on field level will affect the outcome of the cooperation.
I found that the main problem with civil-military cooperation seems, in short, to be the lack of interaction. If the level of interaction is raised many of the problems found can be solved or avoided. (Less)
