- Abstract
- The purpose of this work was to collect experiences and examples of good preparedness work ahead of crises caused by landslides and floods at municipal level in Western Sweden. The study was carried out through a literature study, a pre study and a case study including interviews with representatives from seven municipalities and three national authorities. A set of criteria for good practice crisis preparedness was set up and used to compare examples of the municipalities work discuss to, as a basis for a later discussion of the work. In conclusion the municipalities are performing well under their current conditions. Within their work both examples of successful work, common problem and different ways to try to solve them were found.
