Policy and financial innovation system in China

- Abstract
- It is totally different situation between the EU and US, which are Market-oriented, Chinese financial innovation is Government-led. However, because of the difference basics, Binhai and Pudong, they chose distinct modes of innovation, selective and comprehensive. The differences include total finance and GDP, quantity of financial markets and institutions, and domestic and foreign situations when they made decision. But, as a pioneer of reform and opening-up and a successful model, the experiences of Pudong will give Binhai a good reference. That is, building the national financial markets and trading center, leveraging policy advantages to accelerate innovation, and cooperating with the surrounding regions.
