This is accompanied by a conceptual analysis of the value of democracy. Together, these components constitute the backbone for the following main argument. This argument deduces from general intuitions about democracy, through economic democracy, to the embracing of the public ownership of enterprises. However, to further substantiate the discussion, my normative position is related to a number of objections based on, among other things, democracy, efficiency and fair competition. (Less)
