- Abstract
- This report contains an evaluation of the fire safety regarding evacuation at PUB-huset, Stockholm. PUB-huset is a shopping-mall situated in the heart of the Swedish capital and it is a highly visited building. To evaluate the safety of the building a risk analysis determined the three scenarios with the highest likelihood of occurring and the worst consequence if they occur. The time to critical conditions for these three scenarios was compared to the egress time for the building. To evaluate the fire scenarios computer programs, such as CFAST and DetactQS, and hand calculations have been used. For egress time the computer program Simulex and hand calculation have been used.
