Vattennivåförändringar i Vänern och dess inverkan på samhällsbyggnaden i tre utsatta städer

- Abstract
- The area around Lake Vänern in western Sweden is an exposed area for flooding. It has
since the measurements started in the 1900th century been flooded repetitively. In the
coming 100 years the water level is supposed to increase between 1-3 meters. This will
most probably lead to worse and more regular floods in the area. There area around Lake
Vänern is very densely populated and it will most probably be affected by the increased
water levels. The purpose with this paper is to see if three of the cities around Lake
Vänern (Arvika, Karlstad and Lidköping) have considered the assumed water level rise
when they planed the expansion of the cities. I have used the Governmental report
(Klimat och Sårbarhetsutredningen) as a base for... (More) - The area around Lake Vänern in western Sweden is an exposed area for flooding. It has
