The study is based on four interviews with women aged 20-25 years and analyzed through the theory of feminism and gender. I found that the young women in my study all have ambivalent feelings towards pornography and the female sexuality, here referred to as a Madonna-whore issue. None of the women consume pornography on any high or even mid high levels as they feel that pornography just “isn’t for girls”. I also found that the women in my study have difficulties relating to pornography and accepting it as real although they also experience positive aspects of pornography such as a resource for sexual inspiration.
