- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
- Abstract
- The main aim of this study was to get a better insight of how employees think of leadership between men and women and whether or not it agrees with science and literature.
I conducted a quantitative study, with the help of a custom designed survey that was handed out. The survey concluded three scales: performance, team spirit and innovation. The three of them were constructed with 52 questions, which were randomly distributed. A selection was made through the social network Facebook. The 67 respondents that answered had a daily contact with their superior and therefore had the possibility to review their leadership. Of those being asked, there were 40 male and 27 female respondents. The results of the scales were calculated by estimates... There were no clear differences in the outcome. Therefore, it was difficult to draw direct conclusions from the result. This was further developed during the discussion part. In future research it would be interesting to investigate whether the respondents' perceptions about their superior might be based on the individual itself instead of the gender. (Less)
