the society; an endeavor to prevent exclusion and marginalization while easing the

The purpose of this research is twofold. First objective is to illustrate how Sweden
recognizes and accomodates the diversities by presenting the multicultural
policies and the extent of their implementation. Second, it is focused on the
experiences of Turkish-Swedish members of the society and aims to present their
opinions on the implementation of multicultural policies. Through an empirical
analysis based on multicultural policy index and interviews, this research paper
aims to reach a better understanding of multiculturalism in Sweden. (Less)
