- This essay is a study of angels and monsters in Moa Martinsons two novels, Women and Apple Trees and Sally's Sons after Gilbert and Gubars theoretical concept which they presented in their literary collaboration The Madwoman in the Attic 1979 . The essay applies the idea of angels and monster on the above mentioned works of Moa Martinson.
