Title: Eating disorders, stigma, self-stigma and four blogs - a qualitative research. [Translated title]

The aim of this research was to examine the reason of why people with eating disorders don’t seek professional help, by using Ervin Goffmans (2004) theory about stigma and Patrick Corrigans (2004) theory about self-stigma. I used a qualitative method and I based my study on four blogs from the Internet. These blogs were written by persons who suffer from some kind of eating disorder and who don’t seek professional help. Is it because of stigma and/or self-stigma?
