- The basic relevance of this thesis is the need to always examine the democratic society and its evolvement.
In the year 2008 a new law was enacted. It changed the so called ´FRA-law` which regard the institution ´Swedish Defence Radio Authority` and enabled it to wiretap all telephone and Internet traffic that crosses Sweden's borders. With these two central factors for a ´good` democratic community came to be widely debated – national security and personal integrity.
The question I seek to answer is; what are the political effects of this law?
I apply a theoretical framework called ´policy feedback` and the related policy theories that examines, lock-in effect, ideational and symbolic effects, state-building effects and social group...
