- Abstract (Swedish)
- Problem:
How much does three existing levels of renovation and energy efficiency action packages of the “Miljonprogram” cost?
What are the success factors for each of the levels of renovation and energy efficiency action packages of the “Miljonprogram”?
Purpose:
This study aims to determine the cost and success factors of three action packages. The package consists of existing combinations of standardized renovation and energy efficiency actions.
Methods:
The report is characterized by a system theoretical, as well as an abductive approach. The study takes an empirical starting point in three qualitative case studies that are mapped according to two different theories.
Conclusions:

Methods:
The report is characterized by a system theoretical, as well as an abductive approach. The study takes an empirical starting point in three qualitative case studies that are mapped according to two different theories.
Conclusions:
Empirical contribution: The success factors behind successful renovation and energy efficiency projects of the “Miljonprogram” are considered to vary with the project size:
• For smaller investments exploring the possibilities of partnering agreement is recommended, as well as establishing a dialogue with the residents.
• For medium sized renovation and energy efficiency projects the importance of a corporate culture that encourages initiative, responsibility and commitment is emphasized.
• Large sized projects include the same recommendations as for medium-sized projects, as well as considering the opportunities for external funding, and to seek synergies effects.
Theoretical contribution:
• A unique mapping method; the combination of supply chain management and business ecosystems.
• Different usage of the theoretical field business ecosystems by the application in the construction industry. (Less)
