In the result it turned out that these factors had impact on the shape and maintenance of social workers professional identity. As a social worker you can be in an arena where other professions is the dominant profession and therefore turf battles can sometimes occur. Fighting for your professional capacity and develop your own niche in various workplaces is yet another factor that affects how to shape and maintain professional identity. (Less)
