- Studiens syfte var att beskriva hur psykologer upplever alliansskapandets innebörder och inverkande aspekter i sitt arbete med flyktingbarn. Till datainsamling användes halvstrukturerade intervjuer med sex psykologer som har erfarenhet av arbete med flyktingbarn. Intervjumaterialet analyserades utifrån Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) som är metodologiskt grundad i hermeneutisk fenomenologi. Resultatet sammanställdes i sju huvudteman: Alliansens karaktäristika, Brottas med närhet och distans, Axla olika roller, Nya relationella erfarenheter, Psykologen delar barnets svåra känslor, Asylprocessens otrygghet och Bortom språkets och kulturens betydelse. The study is based upon a hermeneutic phenomenological approach. Six psychologists with experience of working with refugee children were interviewed and the data was analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The result was summarized in seven main themes: The characteristics of alliance, Finding a balance between closeness and distance, Taking on different roles, New relational experiences, The psychologist shares the child’s difficult emotions, The insecurity of the asylum process and Beyond language and culture.
