- Abstract
- The goal of the project is to identify and analyze different solution methods and to see how they should be applied to an industrial problem. The problem that will be examined is assembly of screws in a disc. The solution uses a Pacdrive system which is used to control and synchronize the servo motor. The operation of the motors will be done with an electronic cam that is completely virtual. In this project we compare different methods to have an electronic cam or positioning control and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Some issues that are discussed are design possibilities, synchronization of servo engines, steering and positioning with servo motors.
