- In recent years, LARP events (live action role playing) have become more popular in Sweden and permanent buildings have been built in a number of LARP event areas. But despite that a desire for good event management may exist, the knowledge may be lacking. This master thesis aims to study the risks and dependencies on LARP events with the goal to answer the question: “What should be included in safety guidelines for LARP events and how should these safety guidelines be designed with regards to how LARP events are conducted today?” The study included a detailed field study of a LARP event where qualitative interviews and a quantitative survey study were conducted.
