- This paper searches for the answer to the question: why did the argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges include the university town of Lund and the character Nils Runeberg in his short story "Tres versiones de Judas" (Three versions of Judas) in his short story collection "Aleph" (The Aleph) published in 1949? A single conclousion isn't met, but the paper produces multiple reasons.
