Abstract
This thesis analyzes, from a media framing perspective, the American main stream media's framing of the Goldstone Report. The conclusion of the report accused both Israel and Hamas of war crimes. The report was scrutinized in the media and... (More)

The conclusion of the report accused both Israel and Hamas of war crimes. The report was scrutinized in the media and received both positive and negative reviews. Richard Goldstone himself, the chair of the fact finding mission and a South African Jew, was excoriated as an enemy to the state of Israel. The object of my analysis is articles from New York Times and Washington Post and what the convey. (Less)
