- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

- Abstract
- Rules of origin are essential to determine the economic origin of a product traded within a preferential trade agreement. The objective of this thesis is to examine rules of origins’ impact on developing countries’ export. More specifically, this report aims to determine whether or not the reform of the rules of origin under EU´s Generalized System of Preferences, enforced in 2011, have had an effect on clothing export. By using the gravity model the author has been able to investigate the difference in the export value within the clothing industry from the least developed countries to the EU during 2009-2012. The study shows that the reform has had a negative effect on clothing export. Because of unexpected results, further investigations... (More)
