Infrared Oven for the compact kitchen. Emerging ways of living and cooking.

Saarman, Karl-Otto (2014) In Diploma work IDEL01 20141
Industrial Design
Abstract
The advantages with infrared heating
and the fact that the technology
has become significantly more
inexpensive opens up a bigger
interest to develop products using
infrared heaters further.

What will the future kitchen look like?
How can infrared technology develop
and create more conventional and
intellectual products processing our
food?

By pushing the limits of the technology
today the main idea behind this
project is to provide a vision of what
the kitchens oven may look like in a
near future.
