Abstract
Food trucks provide personalized experiences by eliminating
anonymity and allowing the customer to slow down and engage.
Their mobility facilitates transformation and a sense of
occasion, thus possessing elements of performance, urgency
and excitement.
Having the ability to define spaces and revive locations, food
trucks creates affiliative communities with natural meeting locations.
The food truck is in its very being a democratizing phenomenon
supporting hierarchical decompression.
Food trucks are a solution which provide a new way of thinking
about our physical surroundings and the power of the city.

With todays fast food industry in our way of realizing potential
The Food Truck Kitchen has its origins in re-designing the
industry. A re-design which aligns with the evolving cultural
codes, values and aspirations of the modern consumer, who
has a very nuanced understanding of what it means to live a
healthy lifestyle.
On ideas of honesty, integrity and a purpose above profit mentality
as a maxim, The Food Truck Kitchen provides a palpable
exchange while promoting local entrepreneurship.

The Food Truck Kitchen realizes that food trucks are not a substitute
to brick and mortar food vendors but a completely new
phenomenon and a product that will need to be woven into the
fabric of our society.

Challenging the rigid and preordained compositions of a
kitchen, The Food Truck Kitchen defines a series of functions;
washing, cooking and food preparation. These functions remain
completely independent from each other. They can be
placed next to each other to integrate a flexible and personalized
kitchen environment.
The Food Truck Kitchen attempts to incorporate and highlight
the relevant social norms of the food truck ambassador as to
