In this project, I am focusing in finding the way to help people decrease their stress. I developed a product that guides users to deep breathing. This object is to mimic human natural abdominal breathing movement. In ancient India, a deep breathing technique called Pranayama, has been widely used among yoga practitioners. Deep breathing is reported to reduce stress and anxiety, and even reported to be beneficial for physical health. The product is the end result of the combination between digital design and product design approach. The object can be controlled by an application on a mobile device. It provides three levels of breathing exercises; beginner, intermediate and advance. By placing your hand on this product, user will feel the movement and that is just like when you feel the movement of your tummy, breathing in-full tummy, breathing out-flat tummy. This three-dimensional breathing demonstration guides user to deep breathing within an easy way and unique experience. It is designed for different usage and scenario. It is possible for both individual and public user. (Less)
