KBT vid utmattningssyndrom

- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
- Abstract
- Previous research has shown that CBT treatment is not successful for patients with stressrelated exhaustion, neither to improve the wellbeing nor to shorten the sick leave. The study has examined if this is accurate to how a group of CBT-therapists on primary care level perceive the results of therapies with these patients and how this can be explained. The therapists have also described which interventions they use as well as how they perceive how sick leave affects the rehabilitation process. The method of investigation has been a questronnaire. The CBT-therapists experience that the therapies lead to good results both when it comes to wellbeing and return to work. One way to explain this is that the therapists see the natural healing... The CBT-therapists experience that the therapies lead to good results both when it comes to wellbeing and return to work. One way to explain this is that the therapists see the natural healing process as a result of their therapy. Other ways to understand this is that they actually don’t treat stress related exhaustion, but other underlying or parallel diagnoses and the good results the therapists experience is that they work with tools which can decrease the need of medication with psychodrugs. The view on the sick leave’s significance for rehabilitation is widely divided amongst therapists and it is possible to sense an ideological difference as the cause of this. (Less)
