The conclusion drawn from this research shows that the freedom of speech is a component that must be protected at all costs and that there are some groups that have the opportunity to make themselves more heard in the media which in turn affects the communicative rationality. Following Habermas, this study will argue that the fact that certain voices are highlighted and allowed to set the agenda in the media generate distorted communication. This form of distorted communication makes the right to express opinions freely in Sweden useless for weaker groups. (Less)
