The results showed that good quality of care for the elderly were defined as a combination of practical help, social involvement, the opportunity to participate in decision making of their own care and a sense of security. Important elements for good quality of care was proper documentation, a designated staff contact person, competent management and trained health care assistants with personal suitability. Elements opposing good quality of care were lack of time and being understaffed. (Less)
