- Abstract
- Our objective was to study the knowledge of children's rights among seventh graders, and it dif¬fered between various economic areas. Our selection was all seventh graders in Helsingborg. Our approach was the quantitative approach with survey as an instrument. We found that there are differences and that some of these are connected with which economic area the children belong to. We had hypothesized that the area which had the highest middle income would have the highest knowledge about children's rights, and that there would be a connection between knowledge and economic background. We could through our study conclude that there were some significant associations between which economic area the children lived in and what they knew about... (More)

We could through our study conclude that there were some significant associations between which economic area the children lived in and what they knew about children's rights. Our hypothesis was partially confirmed, but the economic areas alone can’t explain the differences, there are other variables that we didn’t measure that matters. (Less)
