The themes that I found of the basis of my data was the balanacing between the legal and criminal life, criminal association, money and status, drug abuse, and the unknown. The results showed that the social interaction with their social company had a significant impact on the former criminals criminal lifestyle because their social company was the reason their criminal lifestyle began, developmed and then maintaned. Based on Sutherland's theory the respondent learned their criminal behavior through their interactions with the group, which had a positive outlook on crimes and breaking the law. The result also present that the ex-criminals had their own syftem of norms that they followed instead of society’s norms and rules, The rules that existed in their social company were not in line with society’s, as the respondents chose not to follow thesestandards led to deviation.
