LINGERING IMPRESSIONS - Designing for non-static public spaces
(2015) In Diploma work IDEM01 20151Industrial Design
- Abstract
- This report presents a master degree project in industrial design
from Lund University. The title, Lingering Impressions, relates to
the way humans affect their shared environments, consciously and
unconsciously, and the cumulative effects of these behaviours over time. With these effects as the starting point and main inspiration, theproject aimed to design less static products for public environments, and resulted in three lighting systems that are designed change and evolve in shape and function depending on how their space has been used.
