To answer the questions the thesis is based on four semi-structured interviews as methodology, and the seating arrangements at fashion shows as a topic of discussion. The interviews pointed toward a current hierarchical structure of the fashion week in Stockholm. All of the informants argued for press such as journalists and bloggers as being the most important participants of the week, but they saw a need for moving towards a more buyer-based focus over all. This may lead to a change in the hierarchy where buyers would get more seats at front row. The participants were bound by the structure and viewed it as a natural way of knowing the different positions of other individuals visiting the shows. (Less)
