Abstract
The study's purpose was to explore and analyze how offensive treatment was documented in primary school based notifications and investigations where offensive treatment has occurred. In connection with this, I hoped to get an understanding how the documentation was communicated to and implemented, and how teachers assess the work of offensive treatment. The study was based on a feasibility study, which questionnaire was answered by 13 teachers within a school district and a qualitative content analysis of the 58 investigative documents, where offensive treatment have taken place. The study's purpose was to explore and analyze how offensive treatment was documented in primary school based notifications and investigations where offensive treatment has occurred. The template is based on the Education Act guidelines and describe which elements should be included in the investigation. The investigation process should for example be a thorough description of the events, the actions to be taken and follow-up. It appears that physical and psychological violations were common. The conclusion of the study was that the principal, headmaster and teachers deficiencies in their knowledge of the work to counteract offensive treatment.
