- Abstract
- This work is meant to make it probable that, without direct measurement in the fuel line, it is possible to calculate the fuel flow with other parameters. <br> The investigation is made in one specific case, for a four cylinder carburetor engine. With the model parameters engine speed and intake manifold pressure it is possible to construct a model which showed a good agreement in a comparison with the car. Furthermore, the system ban be automatically calibrated using the least squares estimation.
