Simulering av produktionssystem
(1977) In MSc ThesesDepartment of Automatic Control
- Abstract
- The purpose of this report has been to find suitable methods and programs for simulation, in particular of production flow systems. Only few methods of this subject have been developed, and therefore a considerable time has been used to find the basic facts. The problem has been attacked with two different methods. The first one is a simulation program which has all decision rules mathematically defined in the program. The number of decisions increased considerably and troublesome rules in the control of the system resulted. It was difficult to understand the results and the used did not feel that he controlled the system. The other program leaves all the decision rules to the user. When a worker shall be moved, the program writes a report... (More)

When a worker shall be moved, the program writes a report of actual values, from this information the user makes his decision. The two programs are used in different situations. The first one is suitable for testing different control algorithms for a production system. The second one gives the user a better feeling of the system dynamics. (Less)
