The thesis is measuring rhetorical variables such as balance in appeals(Ethos, Pathos and Logos), few centered argumentation vs. many side-ordered arguments, the relation between probatio and refutatio, and finally whether politicians can successfully avoid answering questions and make the opponents seem absurd, by attributing opposition political views which he/she doesn’t have. The thesis is based on both qualitative and quantitative methods of study. (Less)
