Mindfulness is a method found to be effective to treat the symptoms of stress in the group. The questions in the study was whether the patient understated symptoms of stress / fatigue disorders, anxiety, depression after the mindfulness-based group therapy reduced and further reduction of symptoms occurred after three months of follow up or have achieved reduction in the measurement surrendered at follow-up. Our experimental group consisted of nine women who participated in the mindfulness-based group therapy at a health center in the south of Sweden in the fall of 2015. They conducted self-assessments at admission, discharge and three months after completion of treatment. The results showed significant improvement of high-rated experience symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, depression and general health. It was concluded that mindfulness-based group therapy in primary care yielded significantly improved mental mood for this group. We could not, however, ensure that the measured changes were responsible for the improvements when no control group was available when the study was conducted in regular activities.

(Less)
