It is hard to make a general conclusion if there is any difference of the types of fractures between men and women. The types of fractures appear by an accident and it depends on which angle the hard pressure hits the elements. The fractures have been connected to a sudden accident, like an accident on the work placement. Some of the fractures have also been connected to violence. The heeling of the fractures during the medieval has also been studied. It is possible that there were doctors during the medieval period and that the people with fractures did seek help from the doctors. (Less)
