To examine how anonymous witness can increase the witness tendency, we have done interviews with seven people who is working on the non-profit organization Fryshuset in Sweden, or have somehow a connection to the organization. These people either have been working with people with a criminal background for a long period of time or people who has a criminal background and a history in criminal gangs and in criminal networks. The study has a theoretical basis by Eugen Ehrlich theory about state law and living law and Travis Hirschi's theory about social bond. The people we have interviewed has given us answers on whether anonymous witness can increase the witness tendency and if not, what other options can help increase the witness tendency. (Less)
