Socio-legal integration of the ethnic Russian minorities in Estonia

Abstract
In​ ​this​ ​thesis,​ ​I​ ​investigate​ ​the​ ​socio-legal​ ​experiences​ ​of​ ​ethnic​ ​Russians​ ​in​ ​Estonia​ ​and​ ​also review​ ​their​ ​practical​ ​implications.​ ​In​ ​particular,​ ​I​ ​explore​ ​the​ ​following​ ​research​ ​question​ ​​– What are the main challenges and possibilities for socio-legal integration of Russian minorities in Estonia?

For​ ​this​ ​purpose,​ ​I​ ​conducted​ ​several​ ​semi-structured interviews.​ ​The​ ​theoretical​ ​framework​ ​for​ ​this​ ​study​ ​is​ ​a​ ​combination​ ​of​ ​legal​ ​culture​ ​and​ ​Leon Petrazycki’s​ ​intuitive​ ​law​ ​theory.​ ​I​ ​conclude​ ​that​ ​in​ ​order​ ​to​ ​understand​ ​how,​ ​why​ ​and​ ​when Russian​ ​minorities​ ​integrate​ ​into​ ​or​ ​disintegrate​ ​from​ ​Estonian​...
