- Abstract
- The purpose of this essay was to investigate how professional social workers attitude towards mental illness and their knowledge of mental health due to a proven relation between those two. The study is of a quantitative nature and data were collected via an online survey consisting of sociodemographic questions and two statistically tested questionnaires. 51 social workers from Helsingborg, working in three social work fields: Social services department, Labour market department and Health- and social care department, answered the survey during the period 27/11-7/12.
