- Abstract
- Twenty four participants, school principals (n=14) and school counselors (n=10), were recruited to perform a psychotherapeutic intervention, expressive writing. Booth groups consisting of non-clinical professionals. A pre and post-measurement was conducted regarding perceived stress, burn-out and motivation to perform the intervention as well as satisfaction with the intervention. The study found that the participants from booth groups that were exposed to the intervention had significantly decreased their estimates regarding perceived stress.
