Bagdrobe - For children with two homes.
(2018) In Diploma work IDEL01 20181Industrial Design
- Abstract
- Starting off, my initial idea was to create a product for children of divorce, that alternate between their parents homes. By conducting interviews with the target group I found different problem areas that I chose to explore further. The problem of constantly having to pack and unpack clothes and other things was what I decided to take further. By sketching I figured out what the core problem was and what elements my solution would have to include. Then, many mock ups later, I ended up with my final solution - introducing the Bagdrobe, a merge between a wardrobe and a bag. It solves the problem of the time and energy consuming activity of constantly having to pack and unpack what the child brings between the parents.
