Finns det samband mellan arbetsmotivation, personlighet och arbetsrelaterad utmattning?

- Studiens syfte var att undersöka samband mellan arbetsmotivation, personlighetsdragen i Big five samtarbetsrelateradutmattning.Tidigareforskninghar visat på samband mellan vissa personlighetsdrag och motivationsfaktorer som exempelvis yttre och inre motivation. Samband mellan personlighet och utmattning har även varit föremål för flertalet studier, där sambandet mellan framför allt personlighetsdraget neuroticism och utmattning har bekräftats. Vad gäller motivation och utmattning fanns betydligt mindre forskning att tillgå.
Vid genomförandet av studien användes en surveyundersökning bestående av tre delar, en del för respektive forskningsområden. Resultaten var delvis signifikanta och visade bland annat på stark korrelation mellan motivationsfaktorn amotivation och utmattning, samt mellan personlighetsdraget neuroticism och utmattning. Utöver korrelation gjordesävenregressionsanalyserförblandannatattkunnautrönahuruvida utmattning går att predicera utifrån motivationsfaktorer och personlighetsdrag. In this study as survey of three parts was used, allowing our 97 participants to estimate their motivation, personality and degrees of exhaustion. The results showed a significant correlations between amotivaton and exhaustion as well as between neuroticism and exhaustion. Regression analysis was also made in an attempt to predict negativestress due tomotivation and personality. Results indicated the possibility to predict exhaustion as an potential effect of the personality traits extraversion and neuroticism. Also amotivation was shown to be a predictor of negative stress.
