The level of democracy is used to proxy the attitude against homosexuals in the parents birth country, since previous studies have proven a strong relationship between the two. The results are that there exist a significant transmission from the father to the child, while the relationship is not significant from mother to child. Furthermore a series of robustness test are perform to ensure the validity of the estimate. (Less)
