- Abstract
- The purpose of this essay was to examine how collaboration between different authorities effects the integration of the unaccompanied children, viewed from a home for care or accommodation social workers’ point of view. It is a qualitative study in which we interviewed six social workers. Our strategy was to investigate how social workers work with the children’s integration and illuminating what parts they thought were important in working with unaccompanied children. The refugees arriving in 2015 made an impact in the Swedish society as a whole as well as within the authorities working with refugees.
