This development has resulted in a risk for exploitation of human trafficking, since every country has their own laws, and no one knows which country’s law should be applied within surrogacy. The mothers are seen as containers and the children as goods and gifts which can be purchased and sold. Recording to the result, surrogacy is constructed by the government official investigators as a phenomenon where the surrogate mothers are objectified and seen as standard switch. It was shown that surrogacy is a new form of family building and is believed to soon be the standard family in the community. (Less)
