- Abstract
- I want to create a setting for relaxation and contemplation that promotes social interaction between different age groups. My project consists of formulating a modern sea bath house with saunas for the people in Rydebäck, a small urban area outside of Helsingborg.

With this as a point of departure, I have chosen to learn about building in cross laminated timber (KL-trä). I want to understand its qualities and limitations in relation to other more conventional building materials such as concrete, steel and brick, and let the material guide how I develop my project. Do I need to compromise, or will I get more possibilities? (Less)
