- Bakgrund: Årligen diagnostiseras över 6900 personer i bröstcancer och utgör den vanligast förekommande dödsorsaken hos kvinnor. Möjligheten att upptäcka sjukdomen i ett tidigt skede har ökat i Sverige då kvinnor i åldrarna 40-74 erbjuds hälsokontroller med mammografiscreening.
Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av mammografiscreening.
Metod: En litteraturstudie genomfördes där 11 vetenskapliga artiklar inkluderades. Data analysen genomfördes med integrerad analys.
